Aviat Global’s Avalon Airport facility is located 55 kilometres from Melbourne and is a 45-minute, toll free drive from the CBD.
Our Avalon facility can manage your aircraft painting and line maintenance requirements including:
- Developing repaint drawings and service bulletins
- The production and application of graphics
- Strip and re-finish all aircraft, including rotary types
- Special coatings
- The application of specialist coatings to required military specifications
- 24/7 line maintenance.
Avalon Airport facilities
Hangar 4 and Building 15 at the Avalon Airport are available to Aviat Global’s clients.
These facilities include:
- The accommodation of aircraft up to a Boeing B747 with the hangar doors fully closed.
- A spray and bake booth that can accommodate small rotary wing aircraft, large flight control surfaces and components for painting.
- A Local Government approved aircraft paint facility with paint fume extraction systems.
- Administration Building 15, adjoining Hangar 4, that accommodates maintenance management, certifiers and administration staff in an air-conditioned environment.
- A conference room, first aid room and training room.
- Fire detection and suppression capability and LED lighting.
- An overhead fall arrest attach rail is available.
- Aircraft access stands and work platforms are available.
