AViat Global are currently seeking experienced Store persons with Receipt Inspection knowledge at Melbourne Airport to support our 24/7 operation.

This role is responsible for parts receipt in an aviation environment, including purchasing aircraft parts and tooling in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulatory requirements and Company Policies.

Pay rates based on experience.  Full time and Casual positions available. Paid meal breaks and loyalty options available for permanent positions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in receipt inspection duties (or willingness to be trained).
  • Ideally previous experience in Aviation stores or similar (Not essential)
  • Software competency (TRAX, MS Office)
  • Drivers Licence
  • Receipt / Inspection knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Purchasing experience
  • A safety-first approach
  • Valid work rights in Australia

 
The following qualifications, experience and licences will be highly regarded:

  • Certificate in Warehousing and logistics
  • Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Dangerous Goods awareness
  • Authority to Drive Airside (ADA)

About You

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Previous experience in warehouse environment, aviation or similar
  • Sound computer skills and experience
  • Experience in a high volume, high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A safety first approach.

You must be physically fit and able to work 8 hour shifts.

You must have competent computer skills, an understanding of supply chain within an aviation stores environment and have the ability to achieve common goals.

The following qualifications, experience and licences will be highly regarded;

  • Fork lift license both LO and LF
  • Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certificate
  • Certificate III Warehousing and Logistics
  • Current ASIC (background check required)
  • Authority to Drive Airside (ADA)

Successful candidates must be locally based or willing to relocate and have the ability to work in Australia.
